Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prep the Steak: Trim excess fat and cut sirloin into 1-inch cubes.
  • Optional Sear: Heat a skillet with oil, sear steak cubes 2 minutes per side for extra flavor.
  • Add to Crockpot: Place steak cubes in the crockpot. Pour in soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Toss gently to coat.
  • Add Butter: Dot butter pieces on top of the steak mixture.
  • Cook:
    • Low setting: 6 to 8 hours

    • High setting: 3 to 4 hours
      Cook until steak is tender and easily breaks apart with a fork.

  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Notes

  • For thicker sauce, stir in 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp cold water during the last 30 minutes.
  • Add mushrooms or bell peppers for more texture and flavor.
