Trader Joe's Lobster Bisque Pasta

Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque Pasta

This rich and creamy Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque Pasta combines the luscious flavors of lobster bisque with tender pasta and succulent langostino tails. It’s a quick, elegant seafood meal that tastes like a restaurant dish but comes together in under 30 minutes—perfect for cozy weeknights or special occasions.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 3-4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 container (16 oz) Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or short pasta of choice)
  • 8 oz Trader Joe’s frozen cooked langostino tails (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Prepare the sauce base: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and shallots; sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add the lobster bisque: Pour the Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque into the skillet and stir to combine with garlic and shallots. Simmer gently for 4-5 minutes to heat through.
  4. Incorporate langostino tails: Add the thawed langostino tails to the bisque sauce, stirring gently to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated but not overcooked.
  5. Combine pasta and sauce: Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the bisque and langostino. Toss to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.
  6. Add finishing touches: Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve: Plate the pasta, garnish with fresh parsley or chives, and extra Parmesan if desired. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For extra richness, stir in 2 tbsp heavy cream or mascarpone cheese.
  • Swap langostino tails for cooked shrimp or lobster meat if preferred.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a mild spicy kick.
  • Leftovers keep well refrigerated for 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of cream or milk.
