Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (20 oz) container Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque
- 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Trader Joe’s Frozen Langostino Tails (thawed)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Zest of ½ lemon (optional for brightness)
Instructions
- Boil Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add Langostino: Stir in thawed langostino tails and cook for 2–3 minutes until just warmed through.
- Pour in Bisque: Add the lobster bisque to the skillet. Let it simmer on low heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Combine Pasta: Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Finish & Serve: Stir in Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Protein Swap: Substitute shrimp or scallops if langostino isn’t available.
- Pasta Options: Gluten-free or chickpea pasta works great.
- Lighter Option: Use half the bisque and add steamed veggies like spinach or zucchini.
- Storage: Best served fresh. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
